IDVAAC convenes national conferences to highlight the work of scholars and communicate emerging research, build the capacity of practitioners through skill-building workshops, and empower advocates and other stakeholders to effect change within their respective communities. Conferences also promote an environment that fosters collaboration and allows participants to make connections and build relationships with others who can help them in their work.
