Spirituality and religion are critical elements in the lives of many African Americans.

The Black Church is often central to the community and is in a key position to help address intimate partner violence. This webcast provides an overview of intimate partner violence within the African American community, the response of the Black Church has exhibited generally to date, and the role the Black Church can play in attending to the problem with specific recommendations provided.
