Rev. Arnetha E. Inge

With nearly 35 years experience in the domestic violence movement, Rev. Arnetha E. Inge has committed her life to the life-transforming work of domestic violence advocacy. Rev. Inge is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME) and holds a Masters of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology.

As a formerly battered woman of color, Rev. Inge has used her experiences to shed light on the destructive forces of domestic violence while helping to ensure safety, security and support for battered women and their children.

Since 2001, Rev. Inge has served as Project Coordinator of the Interval House African American Faith Project, Creating A Safe Environment (CASE).   She is an Associate Pastor at Bethel AME Church, LA, as well as Minister to Women at Bethel AME Church, and Instructor, Board of Examiners, Fifth District of the AME Church. Rev. Inge is also an adjunct professor of Religion at the University of La Verne and is currently a Candidate for a Doctorate in Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena.
