MN Domestic Abuse
& Re-entry Project

IDVAAC provides specialized training and service to domestic violence and criminal justice organizations in the State of Minnesota to more effectively address the intersection of re-entry and domestic violence.

Through this demonstration project, IDVAAC provides coordination, technical assistance, and training to a group of community-based organizations that serve men in prison and on parole, and women in relationships with them.

Also, as a liaison to the Minnesota Department of Corrections, IDVAAC is working to:

Help shape re-entry policy and programming;
Reduce the potentiality for domestic violence perpetration among re-entering ex-offenders; and
Promote the safety of families and communities to which they return.
